At Maddie & Ellie's House, we have enjoyed the ability of being
involved with the community. Here's just a few of the exciting activities we have participated in:
July 2010: Collected donations to assist in the efforts of one of our clients, who went down to Louisiana to volunteer at a local animal shelter that had been inundated by animals people had to give up because they lost their jobs from the oil spill.
May & June 2010: Discounted our Brush-out service to contribute to the collection of dog hair/fur for Matter of Trust to help with the oil spill clean up in the Gulf of Mexico!

2009: We collected three huge boxes of donations
for Lost Dog & Cat Rescue!

2009: We donated partial proceeds of our dog pictures
with Santa and brought in over $225 for Fairfax
Pets on Wheels!

2009: Howl-a-ween
Party raised almost $250 for Fairfax
Pets on Wheels!

2009: Our 1st Annual "Clean Paws for a Cause," held
at our facility, brought in more than $425 for 4
Paws for Ability!

2008 & 2009: We gathered donations at our
daycare for Toys
for Tots!
November
2008 & 2009: We collected over 200 pounds
of food for the Capital
Area Food Bank!
June
2008 & April 2010: We offered a community Pet
CPR and First Aid class at our facility!
March
2008: We gave a Girl
Scout troop a tour and Q&A to receive their Pet Care
badges!
December
2006 & 2007: We collected donations for both Fairfax and Loudoun County
Animal Shelters!
September
2005: Our 1st Annual "End of Summer Pool
Party" at Kingston Chase Pool raised $400 for animal
victims of Hurricane Katrina and Rita!
June
2005: We held a Pool Party at our daycare and
proceeds of the day went to Centreville
Dogs and their Dog Park Fund!
February
2005 - March 2008: Maddie & Ellie's
House has
fostered ten dogs from HART,
providing temporary love and attention until they found their
forever homes!
